Stewards

 

All Methodist churches...or societies are led by local teams called 'stewards'. They ensure the smooth running of the building, financial affairs and programme of the the local church. This is done under the care and pastoral oversight of the minister. They are accountable to the Church Council which meets 3 or 4 times a year, and the Superintendent of the Circuit.
